COUNCIL OF SCHOOL REPRESENTATIVES
All
teachers of Edmonton Public Schools are members of the Local.
As members they are entitled to vote at all General Assemblies,
participate in the activities of the Local, and elect from
their staff or Decision Unit, representatives and alternative
representatives to serve on the Council of School Representatives.
One representative for every 15 teachers may be elected
to the Council of School Representatives. Representatives
who serve on the Council are responsible for keeping their
staffs informed about the business of the Local and bringing
matters of concern to their staffs to the attention of the
Council. Click here for more information regarding the duties
of school representatives.

referred to it by its members or the Executive, receives,
considers and determines the disposition of all reports
brought before it, approves the annual budget of the Local,
and ratifies the audited financial statement of the Local.
