Are You Retiring?

The Local's annual Retiring Teachers' Banquet will be held on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 6:00 pm at the Crowne Plaza Chateau Lacombe. Because the Local is not automatically notified when teachers retire or resign, we need your assistance in ensuring that all of our colleagues who are leaving the profession are invited to the Retiring Teachers’ Banquet. Please call the Local’s office with this information (455-2164) so we can invite the retirees to join us in the festivities and reserve two complimentary spaces for them.

The Alberta Retired Teachers' Association (ARTA) was organized in 1963 and is now approaching 9,000 members. If you are interested in becoming a member, click here for more information.

Please contact the office by phone (455-2164) or email to provide us with the name of the contact person for the 2008-09 school term.
